Our January CAHRA meeting will kick off with guest speaker Robin Taylor, a member of Butler Snow’s Labor and Employment Group. With approximately 24 years of litigation experience, Robin regularly counsels businesses on all aspects of employment law and has served as lead counsel in cases across Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee.

Robin has extensive experience defending employers in matters involving Title VII, state fair employment practices statutes, the Equal Pay Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. She represents management in labor and employment relations, including contract negotiations and unfair labor practice proceedings, and routinely appears before state and federal agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, National Labor Relations Board, and Mississippi Department of Employment Security.

In addition, Robin conducts independent workplace investigations and provides supervisory and staff training on a wide range of employment law topics. She also advises employers on day-to-day personnel matters, including hiring, compensation, discipline, termination, non-compete agreements, protection of confidential information and trade secrets, and arbitration agreements.
